Parish Bulletin: May 5, 2024

As I have discussed in several recent parish bulletins, we are moving forward with developing our Pastoral Plan, goals, and objectives. The Envisioning Team recently concluded their work, and we have now established an Implementation Team, which is working on developing the objectives under each priority. These objectives will set the tone for us moving forward over the next 3 to 5 years. 

I look forward to the continuing work of the Implementation Team and thank them for their dedication and the progress that they have made to date. The members of the Implementation Team are:

A Message from Fr. Alan E. Morris
Parish Bulletin: February 11, 2024

During Lent 2023, we asked parishioners to complete the diocesan-wide Disciple
Maker Index Survey through Catholic Leadership Institute. Based on the analysis of
the survey results for Archangel Gabriel Parish, I assembled an Envisioning Team to
develop a Pastoral Plan for the parish. This Pastoral Plan was submitted to Bishop
Zubik this past week. The Envisioning Team included members of the parish leadership
councils and other members of the parish.

Fortunately, we had developed a Pastoral Plan in 2020-21, which, upon review, we
decided we could update and continue to use for our new Pastoral Plan. This has
saved us a significant amount of time and work.

We have adopted a Parish Purpose Statement, Vision Statement, and five parish
Priorities that the parish will focus on over the next several years. These are all inlcuded in the document below. Click here to download a printable version.
